About the Journal

The Journal of the Society of Medical Sciences of Lisbon is the true reinvention of a classic. Published since 1835, the Journal of the Society of Medical Sciences of Lisbon (JSCMed) is the official organ of the Society of Medical Sciences of Lisbon, one of the oldest medical-scientific associations in the world, today more than 200 years old. True to its original purpose, JSCMed still undertakes today the mission of constituting one of the main dissemination forums in the biomedical area in Portugal.

Current Perspectives on Innovation and Multidisciplinary Approaches in Medicine

This issue of the Jornal da Sociedade das Ciências Médicas de Lisboa brings together reflections on the growing integration between technology and medicine, as well as the foundational role of interdisciplinary collaboration in clinical practice and research.
